I don't mind being goaded
by the people waving carrots at me,
rewards that are common in my society
but please, let me find my own sense
of what makes a choice worth living with.
Meanwhile the society for the promotion
of scientific illiteracy is making huge advances
in making phobias about diseases more popular
than the vaccines that might have stopped the same,
and quack cures backed by big advertising
will make a big killing, to help undertakers
towards future profits more than we can say.
Whatever the vegetable you choose to wave
at others. to say 'get your reward here... '
choose it carefully-personally I prefer cauliflowers.
