When what used to be called 'patriarchy'
gets described as 'Internalised misogyny'
you can tell that society has shifted.
That is more than a change of label.
But how big the shift is,
and how permanent the change
it sets in place, remains to be seen
long after here-today-gone-tomorrow
people like me will be around to watch.
Even the most observant of folks
can only see as far as their own times.
