When Satisfaction Is Something To Be Bought
Young men who live in cities
live as if they own those places,
but they never have and never will.
They are little boys in bodies
that are enlarged by appetite and choice.
Their vanity is a given.
With enough money they can have a sex drive
to match, and the consequent thirst for property
(something that is more difficult to secure).
But they will also have
a shrunken attention span
for the gentler detail of life.

1-preferring to talk to people
face to face, or at worst on the phone,
rather than deal with a matter on-line;
The matter dealt with remains the same
but the eye contact and/or tone of voice
which you employed to deal with it
should show that you still have charm
along with self control and reason.
2-preferring sex to happen by appointment,
this gives you more time to prepare for it
and give you the small but frequent buzz
of anticipation, if not reliving a few memories.
