Extractive Capitalism

Is a Marxist phrase which describes well the process
of extracting the worlds resources, oil, coal, and precious metals,
to sell on the world market where the profits are hoarded by the few.
As a process it is only 500 years old. What nobody knows is by how much
such extractions are going to definitively shorten all life on the planet?
