Today my greatest achievement
was to be sniffed by a handsome dog,
on a walk I was on, on my own.
The achievement was more down
to the dog than it was up to me.
She-Heidi was her name-
approached me slowly
-but with confidence-
and gave me a nice lick.
That simple act of acceptance made my day.
