Hunting Good Will Where Ever It Hides

I do find it odd,
how in the pursuit of 'morality'
people commonly translate
absolute rule with the will
to be utterly irresponsible.
As if the absolutism lay more
with the ease of walking away
than matching thoughts with words
and words with deeds, and all in kindness.
