From the memory fog of my mind
to your foggy thoughts is a distance
that I don't know how to calculate,
but through attempts to communicate
we might both learn how far apart we are,
though, daily, distances will vary.

Why Dogs Don't Use Computers

If humans knew
the simplicity of dogs
then we would not
make each other cogs
in some infernal machine
that is destroying the planet
we live on, in our detachment.
