around where I live,
my isolation, due to Covid,
would be complete
beyond my ability
to cope with it.
How do I show my thanks and appreciation
to them in a way in which they will know it?
By taking a leaf
out of their living book;
the life beyond language
which they represent.
And treasuring the silence.
