I prefer is birdsong being louder
in gardens that are close to roads 
so that birds can still hear each other.

With nature so wildly off-balance
in the midst of expanding urban life
the traffic noise must be offset somehow...
    

Social Isolation

Requires us to be as tough as mountain goats.
Where we are not just tough on each other
   but often tougher on ourselves as well.
