or leave my mobile phone on all day
when I am at home and doing
what normal folks do in their homes,
compute, eat, read, and attempt
to keep their house clean and tidy.
I receive very few messages from anyone
and the idea of the mobile phone ringing
whilst I am on the landline
whilst I have paused my activity online
would simply be too confusing to imagine.
I would feel like my home
had become a call centre
and whilst I would take the calls
I would not know who
the calls were ultimately for.
