Let The Gaps Grow

Children can only mature
where parenting means support
with gaps for life outside of them,
so that children can feel secure when alone,
they won't feel lonely that easily.

The parenting that leaves no gaps
freezes the family and spoils the children.
It creates parents who will never let go,
and never admit how tight their grip is,
on children who will itch for their freedom.
