I am often astonished when I see government policies,
and how the powers that be see this or that issue, change
in apparent recognition of a changing the public mood.
So often it seems like the technology
used to transmit protesters messages
absorbs nearly all energy in the message
before said message reaches the target
-the relevant government department.
Which is why so little seems to change.
