on the side of caution often proves
to be the biggest mistake we make.
It makes us want to be right more often
than we usually are, and in the longer term
it kills our instincts for risk/trust,
and reduces our empathy for others.
For being cornered by our safety measures
in ways that they can't account for,
they risk failure with each attempt to advance.
