This Blog Is Taking A Long Break, Please Enjoy The Music
This blog is taking a break. Presently the world of this blogger seems to be in is a long and continuous revised repeat of old themes with minor variations - to a slow and diminishing effect - much like the effect that the listener will discover from prolonged listening to the music presented here, of which there 11 hours in total.

Winter Greys
With Winter days being so grey
the length of the days matters less
and when nights fall seems insignificant
even though the days should be getting longer.
There seems to be little to enjoy outside anyway.

It Takes All Torts, And Tortologies
Every time I receive a campaigning email
that chalks up another triumph for it's backers
against corporations in court battles
where rich anonymous shareholders
seek to destroy some particular part
of the ecology of the planet
for their own peculiar gain,
reading the email feels much less to me
like any sort of victory but a repeat of the past,
when similar battles were merely postponed,
in order for similar arguments to be set up
once again, for other, never ending court cases.

The Fear Of Silence
Is not new, and not even recent.
Since the earliest broadcasts,
over a century ago,
the engineers of analogue radio
knew that broadcasting silence
was practically impossible;
the transmitter systems
would simply shut down
if they had no signal to carry.
What is less considered now,
and is how humans respond
to the immersive orgy
of information and choice
that is online, just waiting for us
in an infinite stream
or repetitious doom loop
that we have to learn to turn away from
if we are to be allowed to think clearly
and recognise each other.
