Political cycles will pan from left to right,
and back again, and from the rear to the front
when they are presented in 5.1 surround sound,
whenever a new leader is thrown up to the public.
The new leader will aim to sound like
a new broom sweeping the past clean away
with freshly polished rhetoric in a media so new
that the old media does not know how to absorb it.
They will upset some voters and parties,
whilst hoping to please enough of the public,
enough of the time, to be able to ignore
the malcontent of those who can't be satisfied.
Those with Humbug of their own don't need
to be told that fresh new Humbug is available.
