I have a friend who buys and sells,
books, antiques, other things as well,
as long as the goods are second hand,
in fair condition, and of some value.
When he talks it can be hard to trust him,
but when I got to know him better I learned
that part of his trade is in the value of words.
as he sells things. He often found it tempting
to tell me anything about what he has for sale
as if I might buy it, for knowing no better.
Trickster figures can be friends, and be like that.
