Preserving Your Ideals

In this age of renewed dictatorships,
where we need to speak truth to power
our words seem more like shouting at liars,
by using media so removed from the target
that the only way to promote our ideals
will be to relearn how to forgive and forget
the anger of our enemy before it consumes us.
