There is now one less prisoner in Guantanamo Bay.
After seventeen years of being imprisoned
Abdulmalik Bajabu has been released
from Guantanamo Bay and has been returned
by his jailers to his home country of Kenya.
Abdulmalik was held by the US Government
for seventeen years without charge or trail.
In December 2021 six US federal agencies
all agreed together that 'he posed no threat',
which cleared him for release, but it has taken
three years for his release to be organised.
