How Long Does It Take To Decompose?

The one item I see that is not on the list
which I already know 'should be burnt'
is the disposable Covid protection mask.

  2. I put the question into Google. The following was the brief reply 'From 50 years in the tissues will have liquefied and disappeared, leaving behind mummified skin and tendons. Between 50 to 80 years the skin and tendons too will disintegrate. After 80 years the bones will crack as the soft collagen inside them deteriorates, leaving nothing but the brittle mineral frame behind. That does assume a secure burial and no movement, and that no creature comes along to hasten the decline of the remains because they are hungry and the remains seem like a nutritious meal.
