In the first world we have the luxury
of eating so badly at such great expense,
and the further luxuria of being blind
to the cost of it all, not least upon language.
I would not mind but I have found
that with raw materials prepared fresh
and bought locally, my food tastes better.
The less that is done to draw out the flavour
the more it leaves the texture intact.
