Saying Less With Good Reason

In a world where sophistry multiplies hypocrisy
beyond any depth that we can conceive,
words become the traps that they were designed to be.  

In that world virtue means observing whilst saying less.
We reflect before we act to the point where we we do not react,
but we accept appearing to be inert, whilst actually not being.
 

When You Are In Limbo

it is best to quietly do less,
only your slowness
will hasten your exit
to your next destination.

Double Darkness

Winter should be a time of rest,
of hibernations and letting things
run down. We double the stress,
or increase it by a higher factor,
the more active we are when nature
shuts down, and lives on her reserves. 

Variable Creativities

Artists will have their 'fallow periods',
times when they can make nothing
because their mind stills their hands
-particularly when they are in the presence
of the materials with which to make things.

But still their minds seek the beauty
in the life going on around them
which is replete in its own creativity.
