Whatever The Hierarchy

and whatever the logic, systems
will always create 'winners' and 'losers',
through varying levels of competition.
Whichever role we end up playing,
for the benefit of ourselves or others,
the will to take responsibility
and share any credit going relies
on an absolute lack of absolutism.
