Beyond Inauthenticity

There is still a life to be found
from having nothing to be true to.

But the worth of such a life depends
on cheapness being the catch all
and where self deception
is the starting point for mass deception.

In such a state all truth lies
in The Voice Of The Leader,
where he never says what he means....

Suspicious Planning

We are only ever told 'Plan B is to get into debt'
after Plan A pans out badly. It takes that long
for us to be suspicious about all planning, all along.

Because it is when Plan B really kicks in
that we learn what the planners meant to happen.

And usually what 'planning means
is that one closed and barely known hierarchy,
deciding for everybody how they should live;
How much or little the masses should be living on.

If the clique were clearer about it sooner
they know their plan would disappoint.
Hence the Plan A/Plan B strategy
for what they intended from the off.

Better for transparency's sake,
better disappointment through honesty
which allows for changes to be made later,
than denials and evasions all along.

Polluted Vehicles

The President vs the print media is nothing new.
Trump is not even the first president to use twitter
-he simply the loudest and most loutish to use it so far.
In 1808, towards the end of his two term presidency
and perhaps out of weariness, Thomas Jefferson wrote

'Nothing can now be believed which can be seen in a newspaper.
Truth itself  has now become suspicious for being put in polluted vehicles.'

What is worthy of note is how fast
Mr Trump has made his mistrust of the media,
an industry he has been in for half his life,
integral to his presidential agenda.
