No Exceptionalism

I don't believe in lone wolves
or that single bad apple
in the midst the good.

Everything that is presented to us
as exceptional, and beyond the norm,
is not necessarily so.

To see events differently
we need is enough examples
taken from over a long enough time
to find proof enough for a process
we can all observe.

There are cracks in everything, particularly in ourselves
for not seeing sooner what is there for what it is....
