I see nothing wrong per se with books
like 'The Power of Now', for helping folks
cut through the crap that they are sold
as 'life in full colour' as part of materialism today.
But I feel sure these books all too easily
empower the slippery slope that ideas
are for selling, rather than embodiment.
This is proven by the number of trees felled
in the manufacture to sell us the idea of the lived life
at it's fullest. The trees had no ego to renounce,
and when they were felled to be pulped
to furnish the shelves of shops and homes
with ideas in words, purchased but undigested,
the by now ex-tree, rendered as paper, did no more
than help us pretend to park our egos apparently safely.
When originally they helped all life breathe easier.
