Intelligence

is about far more than knowing a lot and quoting it 
ad nausiem to people whether they know it or not,
which is merely holding forth with your opinions.
Anyone can do that. Intelligence is about questioning
 what you know, allowing others to query you,
and listening. This is what refreshes us, 
what allows us to be changed, by surprises.
